It was a Dream

The dream house has a wide door in the middle

Easily accessed by the young and the old.

In the living room, the outside is visible inside

and there is another door that leads to a path

where they can walk in nature.

The library has a ladder where no matter

how short they are, they can climb to get the book their heart desires.

There is a space for music where

they can hear the rhythm of black and white piano keys,

strums of the guitar and beat of the drums.

There are shelves for records old and new.

There are paint brushes, clay and paper in the art corner

Pictures and art adorn walls, shelves and coffee table

The kitchen is ergonomic in design.

There are healing herbs like thyme, sage, calendula, rosemary, and peppermint on the windowsill.

It has a food pantry that is organized, labeled ,well stocked and accessible.

It has a shelf with spices from all over the world.

The dining table is Round.

The bathroom has back splash made of mosaic tiles in a rainbow of colors.

In the office, there is a desktop a laptop and typewriter

The garage has a charger for the car, racks for skateboards, scooters and bicycles

There is storage for sports, camping and beach gears and holiday decor

The whole house is powered by the the sun ,water and wind

From the balcony, they can feel the wind blow

carrying with it dreams of those who live up in the mountains , cities

and those who live near the ocean below

They all wake up to sounds of fireworks

but the house is nowhere to be found

the wind blew and a feather fell

They feel disillusioned, disenchanted, hopeless

They forgot they can turn a feather into a quill
