Works "by a Lady"

Jane Austen who signed her work as " by a Lady"

has a way with words.

Before the advent of artificial anything,

this little Lady has been putting together letters to form Words.

Many of us did not wear bonnets,

walked in the country,

or ride on horseback in a dress or skirt,

sat on little chairs,

have afternoon tea with cute dainty tiny cups and saucers

on a round table.

The Lady was ahead of her era.

When I go visit the Library or bookstores everywhere,

I see the Works " by a Lady"
