Fall is the sweater weather

The time of the year when color of leaves changes

Cool wind blows, leaves fall

Sweaters and scarves give comfort

After a run, I took along walk

The sun shone

and warmed everyone

I unzipped the sweater

It revealed the t- shirt underneath

a bright yellow shirt I got 12 years ago

when I embarked on a summer journey alone.

I was not looking for souvenirs to buy along the way

to keep my backpack light of the long journey

i made exceptions

and got the yellow t-shirt

12 years alter, the t- shirt in my closet came out

I wore it when the sun glowed

and I walked with everyone
