"scientist, conservationist, humanitarian, UN messenger of peace"

91 years ago, a girl was born

with the sweet name Jane

She loved all animals

She studied chimpanzees

and her name was well known

She was a woman of science

who cared about the world

She read, observed and travelled

She spoke, she wrote and advocated

for the animals she loved

She defended the home

her beloved animals can freely roam

For if one loves one animal,

that love extends to all.

She taught, showed and inspired

to respect all life on earth

In her sleep, she passed away

3 days before the patron saint of animal's feast day

The beautiful name she was given

Clearly is no coincidence

It was meant to match the great life of

JANE GOODALL

A Lady, who was good to all.
