Today is fourth of July

Tonight, fireworks will fill the sky

Every year we celebrate

We eat hotdogs, burgers and fries

I wonder what Liberty means back in the day

When America first won it's Liberty

The once underdogs fighting for freedom

Gained it's independence and place in history

I travel to other beautiful countries

But they don't serve pancakes for lunch

They ask what is brunch?

Thankful for the hard work

Of freedom fighters-

This country's forefathers

I can be vegan on monday

and eat steak on tuesday.
