rain dew drop

Before the sun rises she reads 

words sometimes she can’t comprehend

words that guide through the day

to comfort and soothe aching feet

when  legs can’t move

open the clenched hand  

let the fingers walk

it can reach distant lands

close the eyes 

and see everything

all colors of the spectrum

are there.

In stillness, she feels the earth 

move under the feet.

She stood up and walked

and saw a rain drop

on a tiny grass.

In one tiny dew drop,

she sees another world

similar but different 

from the one we have.

Tears flow when the dew disappears.

She opened her eyes and

light disappears .

She stood up and keep on walking

on varied terrain

She came out to dance under the moon

and bask under the sun

to find that dew drop that fell on her hand
