Tenryu-ji temple and Sogen Pond

unesco world heritage site was founded in 1334.

When I saw the temple and garden,

I remembered the Japanese garden near my late mother's home.

It had a little pond, zen garden and little house that looked like the temple.

I found a picture of my late mom and my daughter in my phone and I showed it to my daughter

She remembered her. She said something sweet about her and my heart melted.

We remember how my late mom could hardly stand and walk.

She sat on her wheelchair while my daughter kept on bothering her.

As I walked around the temple and garden, we feel the heat

but the scenery and my mother's memory captivated me.

We continued to walk along the pond and into the bamboo forrest.

As I look up , I see the sun rays peek through the branches.

We walked on.
