Some a microphone to sing or speak .

Some let their bodies move in harmony with the beats

to express their pain and grief.

Some climb mountains seemingly hard to climb

Some row their boats, fly their kites

Some ride their boards and bikes,

while some use their shoes to glide.

Some walk long distances along narrow paths

some run on varied terrain

They fall, get cuts and bruises on their knees

but they get up and run again.

Some build toy trains and houses

from cardboard boxes of packages they received.

Some sew pillowcases and quilts that serve double purpose,

a blanket to give warmth and comfort at night

and adorn a dull room during the day

Some paint their walls in various colors so bright

they light up even in the dark .

Some look up the sky and imagine different shapes

form in the clouds.

Some use use their hands to plant , some to harvest

some use their time to mold the dough,

bake and share the cake
