The art of words

In the age of AI,
I have no doubt in my mind
that AI can make rhymes
better than Cherry's rhymes.
There will be no errors in spelling,
grammar or punctuation marks.
AI has stored in its memory
all the poetry humans have made.
Poems and books of authors
some I never have read.
AI will show me information
in a click of a finger
when I need them.
The poems I make
came from the depths of me
like a surprise visitor,
uninvited,
shows up in a time
I least expect it.
In the age of AI,
I respect and do not mind
some of it's use
especially if it is to make
navigating this life less strenuous.
I will be open to new ideas
and new ways to write.
I am open to some of it's use
to help me edit what my eyes have missed
but when it comes to Cherry's rhymes,
I keep the art of the words pure.
The words did not come
from anyone's command
It is not poetry on demand.
The words are just letters
I put together.
The words are art
that came from the depths
of a woman's heart.
